Repair the Broken Inventory

The Challenge

Scenario: The outgoing on-call engineer left an inventory that "should be fine". The audit playbook reports no hosts matched, one host is missing entirely, one is on the wrong SSH port, and a parent group references a group that does not exist.

Repair inventory/hosts.ini only - site.yml is correct. Every host in production must be reachable and land in the right groups. Then run check.
